What are the benefits of a mentor?

Improved Communication

Mentees learn how to maintain professional relationships. Mentors also help the mentee improve their communication and interpersonal relationship skills.

Self Confidence

Increases the mentoree's self-confidence. Mentor-mentee relationships may also increase the confidence of the mentor.

Extended Network

Mentors help expand the mentee’s network of contacts. The mentee now has their mentor, along with additional contacts that they can reach out to for guidance.

Technical Abilities

Educates the mentoree on how to accept feedback in important areas, such as communications, technical abilities, change management, and leadership skills

Brandon's Way

Brandon's Way is a psychiatric rehabilitation program geared towards children with behavorial challenges. Brandon's Way helps children with impulsive behaviors, anger issues, physical & verbal aggression, focus issues, and much more. Children are taught social and coping skills, career building skills, hygiene, and how to improve self esteem.

Big Brother's Big Sisters

Different mentorship programs available. Mentees can range from ages 7-17. Group and 1 on 1 mentoring available.

Mentoring Male Teens

Group-mentoring program where education, trips, and real conversations about the ‘Hood’ come together to build strong Kings for society.

Education Services

Tutoring & GED services available in Baltimore

South Baltimore Learning Center

Giving adults a second chance at earning their high school diploma along with skills needed to secure better jobs.

CCBC

Six-week classes are offered that will focus on the four subject areas of the GED Exam – Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, & Math.

BCCC

Instruction helps students prepare to take the General Educational Development (GED®) Test to earn a Maryland high school diploma.

Clay Pots

Clay Pots' GED classes will allow you to learn and develop skills in all four areas that will prepare to pass the subject tests. Some students may qualify for one-on-one tutoring.
